Home Remedies For Dark Circles Under Eyes

Nearly everyone experiences dark circles underneath the eyes at some point--some more frequently than others, for a number of different reasons. Often it only takes a simple change in diet, or increased fluid intake, to avoid dark circles from forming underneath the eyes. Other times there are some inexpensive natural home remedies, which will almost instantly reduce and take away dark circles under the eyes.

Cucumber or Potato Puree
Both cucumbers and potatoes have anti-inflammatory qualities that reduce under eye circles, as well as puffiness, under the eyes. Choose either vegetable, and blend it right into a puree, almost liquid form. Soak two cotton balls within the puree, and place over your vision for 20 minutes. Rinse face thoroughly afterward to get rid of any puree remnants. Keep excess puree within the refrigerator for up to three days, for simple access when dark circles begin to appear. Also avoid salty foods whenever possible, as salt makes the body retain water, thereby forming under eye circles and puffiness under the eyes.
